The FOSS4G-Asia 2018-2019 host/venue selection has been completed.
Update about the voting process and results as below;

a) The voting period was between 12 Aug. to 14 Aug., 2017

b) Each member of the selection committee was requested
cast vote for first and second choice for host and venue
and going through the proposals and Q&A responses.

c) The team with the most first place votes was to be selected
as host for The FOSS4G-Asia 2018-2019.

d) Voting was 100%

e) No tie had to be resolved

f) The Sri Lanka team secured the maximum number of votes
as first choice

I would like to thank the Japan, Korean and Sri Lankan teams
for putting forth excellent proposals and promptly responding to
all the queries.
