GIS-IDEAS 2006 Symposium is scheduled to be held in Ho Chi Minh
City (HCMC), Vietnam from 9-11 November, 2006. The conference is
jointly organized by Japan-Vietnam Geoinformatics Consortium (JVGC)
and Institute of Environment and Resources (IER-VNU HCMC)
and will be held at Rex Hotel located in the heart of HCMC.

Dear authors, if you did not registered of participation, please complete the
registration procedure on GIS IDEAS 2006 website or inform us of your mailing address
for Invitation letters. We will send Invitation letters to you as soon as possible.
As you know from official GIS IDEAS 2006 website, Early registration will begin on the
conference web site in April 2006. Early registration till 30 September, 2006 (at the
much reduced rate) will help the meeting organizers to anticipate the level of
attendance. Late Registration Fee of USD 150 (or equivalent in Vietnamese Dong) will be
charged after the close of Early Registration. Please take few moments to registration!
Participants are strongly encouraged to register their participation using the web-based
automated registration system. However, if you are unable to register through the Web,
please send your pre-registration form to the GIS-IDEAS 2006 Secretariat by email or
postal mail.
We also would like to pay your attention to the payment of registration fee. Earlier it
was said that Registration Fee can be paid at the Symposium Venue (with the invoice of
registration). Now the organizing committee decided that participant may pay
