Dear GIS-IDEAS 2008 Presenters and Participants, The GIS-IDEAS 2008 Conference Schedule is almost finalized and can be viewed at http://wgrass.media.osaka-cu.ac.jp/gisideas08/schedule.php *if for some unforeseen reason, presenters are unable to attend the conference, please inform the Conference Secretariat, ASAP* We have had overwhelming response both in terms of submission and registration of participants. We are glad to inform that the conference organizers have decided not to charge enhanced late registration fee for participants. The registration rates for all participants will be an standard rates. Details about the registration is available at http://wgrass.media.osaka-cu.ac.jp/gisideas08/registration.php Registration fee can be paid at the conference venue or through bank transfer (details available at the above registration page). If you have made payment through bank transfer at late registration rates, please ask for refund at the registration desk after showing your payment receipt. Presenters and Participants are advised to register before 15 Nov 2008 to ensure that they receive copies of the conference proceedings and registration kit at the conference venue. Persons registering after 15 Nov cannot be guaranteed to receive Conference Kit and Proceedings as we will prepare only limited kits. [Gisideas] Telephone number changing ?

Dear all, I am trying to register hotel and travel information to the secretariat and travel agent. However, I could not connect both. According to the website of Japanese embassy of Vietnam, the telephone number of Hanoi region has been changed. We must add "3" to the past phone number. For example, secretariat's fax number should be +84-4-38385840 . I tried this number and the fax is OK (at least, it reached). As for the travel agent, the reason is the busy line.
