Dear All, GIS-IDEAS 2012 International Conference is scheduled to be held in Hanoi, Vietnam from 16-20 October, 2012. The conference is jointly organized by Japan-Vietnam Geoinformatics Consortium (JVGC), Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) and Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Resources Geography (HCMIRG) and will be held at HCMUT. More information about the conference is available at http://gisws1.media.osaka-cu.ac.jp/gisideas12/ Pre-registration and abstract submission can be done from the conference web-site. The organizers of GIS-IDEAS 2012 are seeking support from sponsors,exhibitors advertisers. Please see the details in the conference website. Dear GIS-IDEAS 2012 Participants and Presenters, Latest update of the conference program is available at http://gisws1.media.osaka-cu.ac.jp/gisideas12/schedule.pdf The update includes Session Venue, Co-Chairs etc. The training sessions will are scheduled for 16-17 Oct, will be followed by Technical Sessions on 18-19 Oct and Field tour on 20th Oct. Oral presenters are requested to upload their presentation slides before the start of the session and also contact their session co-chairs before the session. Poster presenters are requested to mount their posters on the poster panels on the morning of 18th Oct 2012. Posters panels will be of A1 paper size. Registration will begin at 8am on 18th Oct 2012. Dear GIS-IDEAS 2012 Presenters and Participants, 10 days remaining for GIS-IDEAS 2012, the conference page has been updated. Training sessions are scheduled for 16-17 Oct. 2012. Keynote and Technical Sessions are scheduled for 18-19 Oct 2012 and field tour in Mekong Delta on 20th Oct 2012.
