Final deadline for submission of full-paper in
camera-ready format is 30 September 2008
(Tue). We would like to request all authors to
submit their camera ready manuscripts using the
conference web-site. The author guidelines are available
at (http://wgrass.media.osaka-cu.ac.jp/gisideas08/author_guide.html).
If you have difficulty in uploading the PDF files from the conference
website, please send electronic version by e-mail to the
following addresses.

Authors are requested to *strictly* follow the instructions provided
in the author guidelines. If you have not *strictly* followed
the author guidlines, please re-format and resubmit your

Papers submitted to GIS-IDEAS 2008 will published as hardcopy
conference proceedings in Black&White. Online PDF version can include
color pages which will be converted to Black&White for harcopy
printing. Authors are requested to submit high quality PDF files
so as to ensure good quality of hardcopy reproduction.

GIS-IDEAS 2008 Proceedings in a timely and well-formatted

GIS-IDEAS 2008 International Conference is scheduled to be held in
Hanoi, Vietnam from 4-6 December, 2008. The conference is
jointly organized by Japan-Vietnam Geoinformatics Consortium (JVGC)
and Hanoi University of Mining and Geology (HUMG)
and will be held at La Thanh Hotel located in the heart of Hanoi.
