Dear Participants of GIS-IDEAS 2004, I am attaching the tentative program for GIS-IDEAS 2004 as PDF file. The online version of the program is available at http://gisws.media.osaka-cu.ac.jp/gisideas04/schedule.php We strongly request the authors to verify the program and prepare their presentation schedule accordingly. Participants are requested to let the GIS-IDEAS Secretariat (gisideas2004(a)pmail.vnn.vn)or the JVGC Office (jvgc_office(a)gisws.media.osaka-cu.ac.jp) if they have to cancel their presentation for any unforeseen reason. OHP projector and computer with MS-Powerpoint will be available for oral presentation. 100x160 cm (WxH) panel space will be available at the conference for each poster poster presentation. Posters should be on display by the first conference day (16 September 2004). Authors must be present at their poster during the poster session. Final deadline for submission of full papers in camera-ready format is 16th August 2004 (Monday). Full papers received after this date will not be included in the conference proceedings. We would like to request all authors to submit their camera ready manuscripts using the conference web-site (http://gisws.media.osaka-cu.ac.jp/gisideas04). [Gisideas] Visa problems Hanoi

To participate in the GISIDEAS conference, the Vietnam embassy in Rome requested me to first get a "Visa authorization number" from the conference organizers. However, I'm not successful in contacting the GIS-IDEAS 2004 Secretariat (neither by phone nor email). Any suggestions? It seems to become urgent as I'll leave for Japan in four weeks.
