This article is grouped in the poster presentation section. >From an inquiry to the GIS-IDEAS secretariat, it was revealed that some articles have requested that manuscripts to be withdrawn from oral presentations. Dear Conference Secretariat, This is Phuong Van ( whose research paper: Web Map of Vietnam Protected Areas). I would like to ask for help as follows: 1- I had tried to register as an oral presentation during the abstract phrase. Somehow, I've just found out I am a "poster presenter". So may I change the status of my presentation to "oral presentation" (I've just tried to do this online, but I need your confirmation). 2. About the registration: I am in Vietnam and a PhD candidate. [Gisideas] Update about GIS-IDEAS 2021 Conference

Dear GIS-IDEAS Participants, GIS-IDEAS 2021 conference will be inaugurated exactly one month from today on 2 September, 2021. Under the current pandemic situation, physical travel to the conference by non-local participants will not be possible, so the entire conference will be held only in online mode. A small contingent of local participants (mostly from the host institution, Naresuan University) will gather at Naresuan university during the conference to participate in the deliberations of the conference as a group. We have received several interesting abstract submissions that can be viewed at the following URL. https://gisws.media.osaka-cu.ac.jp/gisideas20/papers.php?first_letter=all Also we have received proposals for post-conference 10 training workshops schedule for the 4th of September, 2021 (Sat). The details of the workshops are available at the following URL. Registration for workshops will be on first come first served basis. Registration for multiple workshops may not be possible since several workshops have only limited seats.
