Thank you all for your contributions to the GISIDEAS to be held in Hanoi from 25-28 September, 2002.
GISIDEAS Mailing list is now operational. If you have any general questions about GISIDEAS, please feel free to post messages to the list at gisideas@gisws.media.osaka-cu.ac.jp
With three months to go before the conference, we are slightly behind schedule with our preparations. Letter of acceptance of abstracts and camera-ready kit for preparation of full-paper have been mailed to individual authors on 16th June, 2002. If anyone on the list has submitted an abstract and not received any information regarding its status, please inform either of the Co-coordinators of GISIDEAS shown below;

We expect that the GISIDEAS Proceedings can be distributed at conference venue. We seek your cooperation in receiving the camera-ready manuscripts on or before 15th of July, 2002.

The Local Organizing Committee of GISIDEAS is now arranging to post invitation letters to overseas participants to facilitate travel to Hanoi. Invitation letters will be dispatched by electronic and regular mail before the end of June, 2002.
