I am very interested in the conference and its thematic sessions, particularly those related to geospatial approaches for spatial analysis, planning, and climate change adaptation. I am currently preparing my abstract and plan to submit it before the upcoming deadline.
In addition, I would greatly appreciate it if you could kindly provide further information regarding participation and post-conference publication, specifically:
Could you please inform me of the registration and publication fees for authors who are doctoral candidates and university lecturers?
Regarding on-site participation in Hanoi, will expenses related to travel and accommodation be covered by the organizing committee, or are these costs to be borne by the authors?
For the Springer Book Series publication option, could you please advise on the publication fee (if any) and the expected timeline for the book chapter to be published?
Similarly, I would appreciate receiving information on the publication fees and expected publication timelines for the other two options: the GIS-IDEAS Journal and the conference e-proceedings.
I am very eager to participate in this conference. Additionally, I would like to ask whether I may share information about GIS-IDEAS 2026 with my colleagues as well as the doctoral candidates and students under my academic supervision, so that they may also consider participating and contributing to the conference.

the abstract submission deadline for the GIS-IDEAS 2026 International
Conference. We cordially invite you to expedite your submissions to
ensure your participation in this prestigious event.
GIS-IDEAS 2026 is a biennial event, and we are proud to announce its
13th edition. This year's conference is especially significant as it is
held in celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the Hanoi University of
Mining and Geology (1966–2026) and the 60th Anniversary of the Faculty
of Geomatics, Cartography, and Land Administration.
The conference will be hosted by the Hanoi University of Mining and
Geology (HUMG) in Hanoi, Vietnam, in collaboration with Osaka
Metropolitan University (Japan), the Vietnam National Space Center
(VNSC), and the Association of Geo-Informatics Laboratories in Europe
(AGILE).
