On behalf of the organizers, I will like to thank one and all for support
and active participation in GIS-IDEAS 2014. The conference was attended
by more then 300 participants for 6 different countries and by all
means a grand success.

Full paper proceedings will be published sometimes in Feb/March 2014 and
we will send notifications to authors who had made oral or poster
presentations at GIS-IDEAS 2014 to make a final check of their full paper
presentations before they can be sent to the publishers.

Outstanding Acheivement Awards were persented to Dr. Nghiem Vu Khai
and Prof. Takashi Fujita, Founders of JVGC for their outstanding
contribution
in promoting Geoinformatics and fostering research collaborations between
Vietnam and Japan.

Four awards were presented for best oral and poster presentations as

the GIS-IDEAS International Conference. Coinciding with 50 year of HUMG,
we plan to
Organize GIS-IDEAS 2016 in Hanoi. Look forward to your active
participation in this future
event.

The GIS-IDEAS Conference mailing list [1] will remain active and if you
have any feedback to help
to improve the future conference or have suggestion for some new activity,
please feel free to
write on the ML.

I take this opportunity to thank the Local Organizers and Volunteers
without whose help,
GIS-IDEAS 2014 would not be possible.

Best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
