GIS-IDEAS 2010 International Conference is scheduled to be held in Hanoi, Vietnam from 11-13 November, 2010. The conference is jointly organized by Japan-Vietnam Geoinformatics Consortium (JVGC) and Hanoi University of Mining and Geology (HUMG) and will be held at Ta Quang Buu Library Building of Hanoi University of Technology.

Pre-registration and abstract submission can be done from the conference web-site. The organizers of GIS-IDEAS 2010 are seeking support from sponsors,exhibitors advertisers. Please see the details in the conference website.

On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee and Streeing Committee of GIS-IDEAS 2010 International conference, I would like to inform that the conference schedule has be postponed as below
New Dates: 9-11 December 2010 Old Dates: 11-13 November 2010
The postponement was unavoidable due to clash with other conferences in Hanoi during November 2010.

Based on consultation with the Local Organizing committee the abstract deadline for GIS-IDEAS 2010 has been extended till 31 July 2010. This is be the very final deadline and all potential authors are requested to submit their abstracts before the said deadline.
