Training workshop will be organized on 6 Dec 2017 as announced in [1].
The place and time are as below;
Workshop1: Environmental Mapping Using Open Source GIS and Open Data Place/Time: Meeting Room- Building A5, 3rd Floor 9:00-17:00
Workshop2: Introduction to Quantum GIS Place/Time: Seminar Room 302- Building A5, 3rd Floor 9:00-12:00
Workshop3: WebGIS application development using MapMint Place/Time: Seminar room 208- Building A5, 2rd Floor 14:00-17:00
Workshop4: Hand-on intro to LiDAR processing with LAStools Place/Time: Seminar room 209- Building A5, 2rd Floor 14:00-17:00
Workshop1 and Workshop3 will be in lecture style where participants will not need to use computers to do exercises during the workshop. Training material and software will be provided on USB and participants are free to copy and use for self-study after the workshop.
Workshop2 and Workshop3 participants will need to bring their own computers running MS-Windows-7 and are expected to complete workshop exercises during the workshop itself. All workshop material will be provided on USB for participants to copy on their computers. Pl. make sure that the computers are fully charged before coming to the workshop as power connections maybe limited.
