Dear GIS-IDEAS community, It was great to see so many presentations on floods, landslides and other geohazards at GIS-IDEAS 2026. They inspired me to share some great news with you. My company, Gaia3D, has just released magoFluid (https://magofluid.gaia3d.com/), a free service for simulating floods, landslides and tsunamis anywhere in the world, right in your web browser. It runs on open DEMs and other open data sources, so there is nothing to install and no server is needed. magoFluid uses WebGPU to run two fluid models on your own computer: 3D Cellular Automata (CA) and the Shallow Water Equations (SWE). It’s easy to use, and we’ve included a few real sample scenarios to help you get started. Just open one, adjust the parameters, hit Run, and you’ll see how it works in no time. If you have any questions or suggestions, please share them through the feedback form on the site. We’d love to hear from you. Please visit the site and enjoy the simulations! Kind regards
감사합니다.
