To participate in the GISIDEAS conference, the Vietnam embassy in Rome requested me to first get a "Visa authorization number" from the conference organizers.

However, I'm not successful in contacting the GIS-IDEAS 2004 Secretariat (neither by phone nor email).

Any suggestions? It seems to become urgent as I'll leave for Japan in four weeks.
