*Requesting nominations for the David A. Hastings Award*
The FOSS4G-Asia 2023 organizing committee is proud to announce the inaugural *David A. Hastings Award* for exceptional contributions to the Free and Open Source Software for Geoinformatics (FOSS4G) community in Asia.
Nominees must have contributed to the spread FOSS4G in academia, government and business, promoted the use of FOSS4G in projects in Asia, or helped localize and customize front-end FOSS4G tools for Asian communities.
